Cabin Rental Rules & policies


Booking Policy

At the time of booking, we require a 40% deposit. All bookings will be charged a Michigan sales tax of 6% and a 1% UPTRA tax. Deposits can be mailed in the form of a check or money order, or we accept most major credit cards.

Check in/Check out policy:

Cabin checkout is no later than 11:00 AM. Check in is 3:00 PM. Maximum occupancy is posted in each cabin and on the Cabin Rental page on our website. No overnight guests above occupancy limit. Failure to comply can result in removal from cabin with no refund given.

Noise Policy

No house parties with outside guests permitted. We ask that after 10:00 PM our guests refrain from loud or disturbing noise.

Dog policy

We know our guests are dog lovers and can’t imagine a vacation without them. Up to two dogs per cabin, with a pet fee of $5 per dog, per night will be allowed. We ask that your dog be housebroken and well mannered. If your dog is a barker, we ask that you keep him/her inside as much as possible. If your dog is wet, we ask you do your best to dry him/her off before letting them inside. If your dog is shedding, we ask you please keep him/her off the beds and furniture. Please pick up after your dog’s toileting needs. We want you and you dog to have a memorable stay with us so we ask that you follow these simple rules.

Damages Policy

All guests are responsible for any damages to the premises during the stay. A credit card will be kept on file until the property has been inspected after departure.

Smoking Policy

Please, no smoking inside the cabins. Evidence of smoking will result in a $250 charge. Thank you for being considerate of future guests.

Cleaning Policy

We ask that you leave the cabin in a clean and tidy state. Please have all dishes washed. All garbage must be hauled to the dumpster at the end of the driveway. All leftover food items must be removed from the cabin.

Cabin Refund/Cancellation Policy

Due the nature of our business, we require a 14 day cancellation notice in order to give a full refund less a $10 cancelation fee.

Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will forfeit your depoit..

No refunds will be given for early departure or bad weather.

Please note, any refunds requested 120 days after booking can not be processed via credit card. Any refunds requested after 120 days will be processed through a check sent via mail. Sorry for any inconvenience.
